Cardstock: Whisper White 100730, Chocolate Chip 102128
Ink: Chocolate Chip 126979 or your choice, crumb cake would probably look good.
Accessories: sponge, non SU google eyes, adhesive and ribbon 10 1/2" of your choice.
Instructions:
1. Cut Whisper White Cardstock to 5" x 5" and lay to the side.
2. Cut Copy paper 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and tear this into 9 strips, sponge the edges with Chocolate Chip ink lightly and lay to the side. Tear your Chocolate Chip paper about 1" x 1" make sure all edges are torn.
3. Lay your 5" x 5" card down and adhere the brown piece close to top as you see in picture and you can adhere eyes to it at this time if you like.
4. Take five of your sponged strips of copy paper and adhere to the 5 " x 5" card stock with adhesive that is strong and layer up to the eyes. Then take the next three strips and turn them so torn edge is coming down in the opposite direction and adhere, making sure your first piece of the 3 strips is laid over the edge of the Chocolate Chip piece. Then take the last piece and cut tear it in half and adhere it to each side of the eyes.
5. You should be folding the torn copy paper over the edges of the card stock.
6. Add your eyes now if you haven't already and I used Mono-Adhesive for these.
7. Wrap around your candy bar to crease the sides and put adhesive down one side to hold it together.
8. I used the striped 1" ribbon that we no longer have but you could use Crumb 1 1/4" 134553 or Chevron Chocolate Chip 130014...just a suggestion or whatever you have on hand. I just did a knot bow.
I hope this is clear instructions and the pictures help to show you how to lay the strips of paper. It is supper easy. Thanks for looking and have a great day. Now I am off to share the candy bar with Bob!
Happy stamping,
Johnnie Sexton, Stampin' Up Demonstrator
