Candy Treat Holder

This cute little treat holder was on You Tube by Papercraft Button and I thought it was so cute that I just had to do it.  I like making these little things for the little 2 year old that lives next door.  It doesn't matter how silly it is Shayna will like it.  She is a great audience! LOL!  I used the Squares Scalloped die to make the base and scored it at 1 1/2" to make fold.  I didn't take a picture of the back but is has the matching DSP as on the front of the holder.  That is optional, especially if you are trying to make your DSP go further. These pieces measure: for flap 4" x 1 1/8" and the back is 4 x 2 3/4", 10"  of the two tone twine and I knotted it under the flap.  I punched holes with the 1/8" hold punch and used the 4 x 6" cellophane bags listed in the book on page 200 of annual catalog.  The sentiments are from the Good Greetings stamp set that you get for free when you place a $300 order or if you are the hostess in a group and you make the $300 minimum.  I punched the sentiment out with the Modern Label punch.  As you can see I filled them with way to much candy, oh well...whose counting! After you have layered your DSP then go in with the hole punch as far as you can and that will insure that they are even.  We will be doing this one in our October workshop.  Stampin'Up supplies used were:

Stamps: Good Greetings 135014
Card stock: Tangleo Twist 133677, Bermuda Bay 131197, Whisper White 100730 and Motley Monster DSP 135819 on page 45 of the Holiday Catalog.
Ink: Momento Black 132708
Accessories: Squares Collection Dies 130921, White & Tanerine Tango Two-tone Trim 135838 on page 45 of the Holiday Catalog, 1/8" hole punch 134365, snail adhesive 104332, redline tape 104294. Use this to hold the bags inside the flap.  Hope you enjoy and get the chance to make some of these cuties.  Click on the sidebar to go to the online store if you need to purchase any of these products!
