Storage Box Bag

Hey ya'll, I trust you had a nice long weekend and are ready to get back crafting!!! I know I am.  Out of the kitchen and into the craft room.  The project today came from Bonnie Carington and she has a video on her site and on You Tube. This is just so stinking cute and you may see more of them on on my site in the future.  You take a Wood mount box from Stampin' Up and cut your DSP or plain cardstock to 11 1/4 X 7 and the the two strips are 11 1/4 X 1".  Copy your handles on the copy machine and use these as guides.  You will need a screw driver, drill, pull drawer handle, snail adhesive and whatever you want to embellish with.  I chose to put my last initial on this one by cutting it from Bermuda Bay with my Silhouette.  The DSP used is from Stampin' Up and is called Birthday Bash (retired). You want your strips to come up under the handles just like it is a suitcase.  That is why you take a handle and copy where the holes are on your copy machine or however you feel is best for you.  You lay this pattern at the top of your sheet of 11 1/4 X 7 paper and adhere your strips.  Then you take this and put it in your case being careful as to not cut the plastic.  When you watch Bonnie's video it will come together for you.  The handle is put on the back spine of the box. You can make a !st Aid Kit, Sewing Kit, Makeup case, Pencil Box, Tool Box, Crayon Travel Box for kids, etc.  Just have fun!!!Click here to go to Stamp Happy Honey blogspot.  She has a lot of other wonderful things for you to look at.

Happy Stamping and Crafting,
Johnnie Sexton
