A Cute Little Basket

This basket was done for another niece to give as a gift and she going to fill it full of wonderful goodies.  I used Black 651 vinyl from Expressions Vinyl and used the Frosting for Breakfast font on this one along with the Palmetto Tree and Crescent Moon!  You have probably guessed it they are Gamecock fans! These are so much fun to make!  hope they will enjoy it.

Another cute Necklace

This necklace was done using Pink vinyl from Expressions Vinyl.  This was made for a friend of my great niece and she loves pink.  The necklace and circle was bought at Hobby Lobby. I used the Frosting for Breakfast font and think it turned out pretty cute.  I am even going to wrap it for Miss Clara to give to friend and of course I made the card to.  It was posted a couple of weeks ago. That is why I was telling you a lot of birthday cards were going to be needed.  hope she likes it.

Thinking of You Card

This card was made for a friend that has gone through some tough times lately.  I wanted them to know I cared and what better way than to send them a card (I called too).  This is a card type I like to make from time to time.  I took the Rose Red card stock and cut it 5-1/2 X 4-1/4 and that is to be the base of the card...just a single piece. Then I cut the layering piece at 4 X 10-1/2 and scored at 5-1/4. Butterfly Basics Stamp set was used on this card. Then the card was stamped with Daffodil Delight and the honeycomb stamp and on this one you stamp off before stamping card. The fern was inked up in Old Olive ink and once you stamp it with full inked image then stamp a little to the side again without inking it up. Butterfly was stamped in Rose Red ink and die cut with the Butterfly Thinlits and placed on card with a dimensional.  The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations and was stamped in Rose Red ink.  The flower was inked up in Smokey Slate ink and stamped off before putting it on the card.  The postage stamp was also inked up in Smokey Slate ink and stamped off.  You can barely see it...right above the right butterfly wing.  On the inside a Rose Red butterfly was stamped in the bottom corner.  As you can see I also did an envelope.  You cannot go wrong with this stamp set and it is still available in the Occasions catalog until June 30th.

Butterfly Basics

Butterfly Basics is one of my most favorite set of stamps and it is in the Occasions catalog until June 30th.  This is a photopolymer stamp set from Stampin' Up and it is such a versatile set that you really can't mess up a card. I stamped the Whisper White top layer all over with Smokey Slate using the honeycomb stamp and stamped off one time, Then the ribbon like stamp was inked up in Pink Pirouette and stamped across the bottom of the card. The beautiful flower was stamped in Crumb Cake ink at an angle and the fern was inked up with Pear Pizzazz ink and one fern was stamped with full ink and then the other two were stamped off. The sentiment was stamped with Smokey Slate ink. The butterfly is from the Butterfly Thinlit Die and was popped on with a diminesional. The flowers and date stamp were stamped in Smokey Slate and on one card it was stamped off first and on the other it was not.  I was just trying to see which one I liked the best.  As you can see by the pictures, one card rhinestones were added and on the other pearls were added.  This is just a sweet card.  Pink and Gray are always a good combination. This would make a cute wedding card just by changing the sentiment.  On one card I stamped the little butterfly that is in the set with Pink Pirouette by stamping off one time.  Didn't add this to the other card and now I can't decide which one I like the best.  To purchase any of this product you can go to the side bar and click on the Occasions catalog or click here.  Anyone that orders on my online store and doesn't click no contact will receive a gift from me.  Hope you enjoy and now I will list the product for you.

Simply Simple Thank You

For this card it just needed to be cute but simple. I think I managed to do that.  All Abloom DSP Paper Stack was used for the top layer of this card.  A couple of punched and one stamp and you have a simply simple card that conveys a big thank you to someone.  I decided to show you what punches I used and a framelit to make the circles.  All SU product!!! Sometimes the punches don't give you the space you need in between the layers. That is why I used punches and a framelit to achieve the closeness I was looking for in the layers.

Stampin' Up supplies used:

Stamp set - Something to Say 134180
Cardstock - All Abloom DSP paper stack 133703 page 185, Whisper White 100730, Lost Lagoon 133679 (an in color).
Ink:  Lost  Lagoon 133644
Accessories: Lost  Lagoon Ribbon 133672, dimensionals 104330, snail adhesive 104322, The third circle from the center of the Circle Collections framelits 130911 (this was cut in Lost Lagoon), circle punch 1-1/4 119861, circle punch 119850.

If you need any of these supplies to make this cute simply simple card please go to the sidebar and click on the catalog and place your order. Stampin' Up will deliver them right to your door. If you order from me I will send you a special gift in the mail, so don't click no contact that way I will be able to send it to you very quickly.

Wine Glass

This wine glass was made for a good friend as a joke.  She loved it!  We are always kidding her about her taste in wine for every occasion.  This was made with vinyl from Expressions Vinyl in black. The ribbon is some I had on hand and I used Comic Sans Font.  It was fun making it and I hope she never has one of those days where we shouldn't ask!  LOL!  I did put her name on it after I took the picture. I had forgotten to do that prior to taking the picture and uploading. I hope you enjoyed looking at the project and please leave a comment or if you have a question I will be glad to answer you back.  I am not a photographer as you can tell, but I do love sharing!

Monogrammed Cards

These cards are a Thank You gift to my stepdaughter.  I had an injured buzzard underneath my car the other day and she came up and helped me get it out and call Animal Control.  I don't know how he got injured and we didn't know how he was going to react to us. All our men folk had gone to an auto fair in Charlotte.  So...I decided to make her some monogrammed cards with one of my all time favorite set of stamps Sophisticated Serifs to say thanks for coming to my aide.  I cut circles and used a Deco Labels framelit to put initials on. The DSP is Back to Black and Sweet Taffy. This was coordinated with Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black with Whisper White as the Base card cut at 4-1/4 by 11" scored at 5-1/2.  Then I had to make a box to put them in and I used Whisper White and Melon Mambo cardstock and then sponged around the box lid with Melon Mambo and added to rhinestones to the Deco Label framelit with initials on it.  This box will hold 8 cards and envelopes.  I got the pattern from Sam Donald and her blog spot is here, please check her out.  She makes things look so easy and has great videos and her favorite thing to make is 3D items.  Love her boxes and bags. This was a fun project and if you need any of these supplies please contact your demonstrator or go to my online store in the sidebar and Stampin' Up will send your order right to your door.  If you order from me you will get a surprise in the mail, but make sure you don't click no contact or I will not be able to contact you.  Thanks and have a nice day!

Really Neat Box

The lady that runs the Chic'n Scratch  blog is my upline .  I couldn't wait to make this box. She puts out videos on her site for anyone to make the projects You can also purchase product from her. Please visit her site and make some of her projects Chic'n Scratch. The video's are wonderful.  I don't have the equipment to do them and would probably make an idiot of myself if I did.  Please check her site out. My box sentiment and tools used to make the label are different that what she used.  I filled it full of chocolate, but it is big enough to hold a small tube of lotion, etc.

Pendants for the Girls!

These pendants were made for my two grands and great niece.  I bought the black pendant (Fresh in Bloom) from Hobby Lobby and the cording for the pendants.  Turquoise, pink and white vinyl (Expressions Vinyl)was used to cut our the initials with my Silhouette Cameo (Love It!).  This pendant came with a clear circle stone that goes over whatever you put in the pendant.  I wanted some-
thing to go in the Easter Baskets as an extra gift other than Chocolate and this is what I came up with.  Very inexpensive! Crystal Effects by Stampin' Up was used around the edges of the clear stone to glue it in.  My grands have the same initials and then the other one is for Clara. They turned out real cute. Although, the grands are getting a little old for Easter baskets...I just couldn't help myself.  Here is a picture of the baskets.

Sew You March Paper Pumpkin

These are the cards from the Sew You March Paper Pumpkin Kit.  They are just getting better and better.  I got 9 cards and 9 Bubble Saying cards with the YOU punched and then you take the thread provided and fill in the YOU.  Well....I did one and thought you just don't see well enough to do this and so I colored them in and punched out some flowers and used Coastal Cabana 131297, Daffodil Delight 119683 cardstock.  Then I took a good look at it and said this is just to plain so I did the little lines around the Bubble with my Project Life pen and Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon.  These were so much fun to make.  I added pearls and the little epoxy stickers that came with the kit.  You can't go wrong with a Paper Pumpkin Kit and if you like it so much you can buy a refill.  You can go to Stampin' Ups site and subscribe to receive this each month.  You can cancel at any time.  Go Ahead and give it a try...they just get better and better.  As long as you have tape they provide the rest.  You can a spot ink pad, stamps,  and everything else is in kit. Visit Pinterest and see what other stampers are doing.

Kindness Matters

I have wanted to make a card with this stamp set for a long time now.  I got the general idea for it from one I saw on Pinterest.  I am getting bad about not writing down names any more to give credit. But what happens is....I get excited when I spot something and it makes me have an idea to do something a little differently than what I saw that peaked my interest originally.  Hope this makes sense.  I used a sponge dauber for the background using Pool Party Ink.  Then I stamped the sunshine in Daffodil Delight.  The butterflies were stamped in Rose Red and Daffodil Delight.  Leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz (2 sets).  Ribbon is Pool Party seam binding.  The bow was tied separately and glue dotted on to the piece that was put across card stock and glued to the back.  The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White card stock with Black Momento ink and cut out with an Apothecary Accents Framelit . This was attached with dimensionals on top of the ribbon.  The small Rose Red butterfly was attached to the larger butterfly with glue dots and then attached to card with dimensionals.  The small Daffodil Delight was attached to the leaves with glue dots.  I didn't think I would like doing cards white on white but I am starting to like the looks of it.  Basic Pearls were used for the center of the butterflies.  Rhinestones would look just as good. This is a card that would be easy to change up the color scheme to just about anything for SPRING!  This is a standard A2 card size. Any of the following supplies can be purchased from my online store by clicking on the catalog in the sidebar of the blog.

Another Simple Birthday Card!

Told ya!!  There would be more birthday cards.  In the middle of trying to get my craft room cleaned and moved around...I still need birthday cards.  I am trying to make room for my new interest " the Silhouette Cameo" machine.  It has pretty much taken over my life.  I still stamp some when I need to, but I love the Silhouette machine a lot.  Now ...back to what I used on the card.  Very Vanilla Card Stock 101650, Old Olive 100702 and some retired DSP that came from last years in-color pack.  The sentiment is from Something to Say 134180 and was stamped with Old Olive ink 126953. I used the Blossom punch 125603 page 219 in annual catalog.  I went from the top of the Very Vanilla layer card that was embossed with folder with the punch until it wouldn't go any further.  Made sure it was centered and punched.  Linen thread was put in button and a bow tied and it was put on card with glue dots 103683.  The green layer was put on the base card with dimensionals 104330. The Word Window punch  119857 on page 222, was used for sentiment and the layered piece was punched with the Modern Label punch 119849 on page 220. I really liked making this card it was quick and easy.  I only have about 15 more birthday cards to make.  Look out!
