Sassy Salutations and Coastal Cabana

inside of card

Hi Stampers,  I saw a card on the blog of Garden of Creativity and I liked it so much I wanted to do my take on the card for my monthly swap. Please visit Andrea Ciminos' site and check her card out.  I really like the SU Coastal Cabana card stock and ink, it is such a light and airy color.  Our theme this month is birthday cards for any gender. The base of the card is Coastal Cabana cut 11" x 4 1/4". The next layer is 5 1/4" x 4  of Very Vanilla card stock and was stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp in Coastal Cabana ink.  Then a Top Note Die layer in Coastal Cabana was cut and put in the embossing folder Stylish Stripes and embossed.  The next layer is a piece from Retro Fresh and cut out with Label Collections die.  This was added to card with dimensionals.  Then the oval was cut out with an Oval Die in Very Vanilla and stamped with sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink and was attached using dimensionals. The flowers were stamped with Coastal Cabana using the Petite Petals stamp set and attached with dimensional's.  Added rhinestones to the center of each flower and attached to card with dimensionals. Easy card to make.  Stampin' Up supplies used: Stamps: Gorgeous Grunge 130517, Sassy Salutations 126707 and Petite Petals 133155. Ink: Coastal Cabana 131175, Card stock: Coastal Cabana 131297, Very Vanilla 101650, and Retro Fresh DSP 132993 (retiring June 1). Tools and Accessories:  Top Note die 113463, Oval dies 129381, Label Collection dies 125598, Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder 132174, Petite Petals Punch 133322, Rhinestones 119246, snail adhesive 104332, dimensionals 104330.  Don't forget the inside of your card.  I used the large Oval Die and placed a small Petite Petals flower on a dimensional and attached it to the inside of card.  A rhinestone was added to the center.  Have fun making this card.
