Money Holder!

I saw this money holder on YouTube by Tiffany Pennington and thought it would be a good one for my great nephew.  He will be graduating in May. It feels good to be ahead for a change.  The colors at his school are gray, white and black, but he won't really care what it looks like as long as it has money in it!  LOL!  This was a fun little money holder to do and the Stampin' Up stamp sets made it was very easy to accomplish.

Congratulations on inside of money holder
The first picture is a close up of  the sentiment and the second one shows what I did for the inside flap. You can write a little note and stick in with the money. I really like the way it turned out and the inside flap is cut at an angle so they see the money better.  The money holder is a piece of card stock measuring 8 1/2" X 9 1/4" and is scored at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2" on the 9 1/2" side, turn and score 7 1/2".  The belly band is layered and both pieces measure in length 7 3/8" long. The Smoky Slate card stock is 2" wide and the Basic Black is  1 3/4" wide.  Decorate with your school colors and any thing you have that goes with graduation. Stampin' Up supplies used:  Cardstock: Basic Black 121845, Whisper White 100730 and Smoky Slate 131202. Ink: Staz-on Black 101406. Have fun making these, the only thing I cased from Tiffany was the measurements and the way it was cut on inside at an angle.  She did a cute one on You Tube...hope you will visit her video.

Happy Stamping,
Johnnie Sexton, Stampin' Up Demonstrator
