Sassy Salutations......Feel Better!!!!

Card I made
Slight Embellishment Change
I received this card from a fellow demonstrator friend, Wanda W.(blog is Poetic Papery).  She brought it to me at the same time she gave me the Flower Shop card I have already posted.  I just love the Sassy Salutation Font.  It just feels quirky and just makes you smile when you look at it.  We made this card in our April workshop, too. The first card is the sample I made ( same as Wanda W.) for everyone to go by and the second one with the embellishment change was the idea of a group member, Ann G. They were given several extra butterflies and she was sitting there putting her card together and some of the others had finished and we ask her what she was doing.  She told us that since she had an extra butterfly she was going to use it and the second card is how she used it.  It changes the look of the card. Ann is a very artistic person and always takes things to a higher level. We are so thankful she is back with us.  She went through a year of medical issues and is on the road to full recovery.  We used Whisper White for the card base and the layer on the front, too.  The Whisper White layer was done with embossing folder Stylish Stripes (Holiday Mini 2013).  This made it easy to use the Gingham Garden Washi Tape at an angle ( just make sure you leave enough to turn down on back side). The blue checked circle is from the set Kind and Cozy and stamped with Island Indigo Ink,  Punch this circle out with the 2 1/2" circle punch. The Daffodil Delight circle was punched out with the 1 3/4" punch.  Sentiment was stamped using Sassy Salutations and punched out with the Artisan punch. The strip of  Gingham Garden DSP was 3" long and  the ends were flagged using the 1" square punch.  Dimensionals were used  on back of sentiment.  The butterfly was stamped from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and punched out using the Itty Bitty Butterfly punch. A rhinestone was placed at the middle top of the butterfly. Thank goodness for all the punches Stampin' Up has for us to purchase.  Makes card making a dream!
