Curvy Box Pumpkins

This project came together so quick and easy that I had to look a couple of times to make sure it was complete.  The Curvy Keepsake Thinlits Dies makes crafting a special little gift for that special someone a breeze.  Cut two 6" x 6" pieces and if using paper with pattern make sure you have it going the same way.  You know what they say about plaids and strips...matchy, matchy! LOL! One is cut from Cajun Craze and the other is from Pumpkin Pie card stock.  The leaves are from Old Olive and I used Bigz Autumn Accents Die to cut the leaves.  The leaves were then run through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossiing folder.  Linen Thread was used as the embellishment and sentiment was from For All Things and stamped in Early Expresso.  I liked the pumpkin plain but I wanted to amp it up a little, so I went hunting on Pinterest and found a sample done by Amy K here. She took a punched out oval and used it to lay on the box and sponged Early Expresso ink to dab down side of oval in graduated intervals to make it look more like a pumpkin.  I will let you be the judge if you think mine look like pumpkins.  The handles were cut from the curvy box thinlit and glued to the handles.  I cut the banner end by hand.  The leaves and banner were placed on pumpkin using glue dots. I see more of these little boxes in my future.  If you need any of these products please click on the catalog in sidebar.  Thanks for looking.
